There are many hidden, breathtaking corners of Spain. We invite you to take a journey into these lesser-known areas, off the well-beaten tourist track, and enjoy a unique and authentic way of life. Our holiday homes are all located in natural settings or in remote, picturesque villages.
We’ve experienced the place personally and have chosen only the holiday homes that are maintained to the highest standard. Most of them have been managed as a family business with a long history. The owners are dedicated to offering you the best, most personalized experience they can. You’ll fall in love with them <3
The majority of the properties selected have equipment or facilities that are in favour to the needs of families, like safe and simple décor. Simplicity is key. “Simplify your life!” is our mantra.
Our hosts value the use of renewable energy and long-lasting, quality products. They’ve taken lots of measures in respect to the environment. Some of the Cottages have been awarded with the ecolabel, the only environmental certification for Tourist Accommodation at European level.
The owners of our Green Hotels or BnBs offer local, organic produce and promote the slow food movement. Others simply let you enjoy the organic fruits and vegetables growing on their finca during your stay.
You will be welcomed in English or French and- depending on the property- in German. And of course, in Spanish/Catalan. During your stay, you will have an onsite contact and a member of the DESconnect team will also be available to help you with anything you need.
